Yesstyle haul | Cruelty free Korean skincare

I’m a huge fan of Korean skincare. I think that’s because it’s generally quite affordable, while having ingredients you can only find in western products with a much steeper price tag. Korean skincare is a lot more innovative (without being too gimmicky). It often feels like western skincare is a bit ”behind”. So it’s not […]

Review | Catrice Brush Ink Tattoo Liner

”Tattoo liner”… Sounds familiar right? Even though Kat Von D’s beauty brand has been taken over by another company (that renamed the brand ”KVD Vegan Beauty”), I’m still not sure how I feel about mentioning their products on here. However, we can’t deny the fact that Kat Von D was the first – to my […]

Review | Pixi Natural Contour Powder

Why does Catrice do this thing where they discontinue a bunch of their products (including some popular ones) every six months? Same with Essence, I just don’t get it! Anyway, I loved the contour duo Catrice released a couple of years ago, and then discontinued not long after. It was such a good contour colour […]

Review | Tarte Creaseless Concealer

From one of the most inexpensive beauty products I own, to one of the most expensive! Today I’ll be reviewing a concealer with quite a steep price point (in my opinion of course). A higher price point means that I have higher expectations of this concealer than I would of a drugstore concealer. Not saying […]

Review | Primark x Alex Steinherr Maximum Moisture Moisture-Locking Everyday Moisturiser

Today’s theme might as well be ”basic but effective”, because I’m going to review a skincare product that doesn’t make any outrageous claims, looks a bit boring, but will probably work for a lot of people – spoiler: at least it did for me! In 2019 Primark came out with a skincare line in collaboration […]

Review | dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

Because of the success of their original Supple Preparation Toner, Klairs came out with an unscented version some time ago. I really wanted to try the original, but when I saw they also did an unscented one I decided that’d probably be the safest option for my sensitive-ish skin. I was really curious whether this […]

Review | e.l.f. Illuminating Eye Cream

Some people think they’re a waste of money, some people swear by them: eye creams. I personally prefer to use one because my eyes don’t always react well to my face moisturisers when I apply them near my eyes (makes me wonder what the hell I’m putting on my face, but OK). When my previous […]

Six affordable cruelty free makeup favourites

A while ago I wrote a post about some of my favourite cruelty free makeup products. There’s one product in that post I don’t recommend anymore because of various reasons *coughKatVonDcough* but the other products I still definitely recommend. I thought I’d do another post full of cruelty free recommendations, and I made sure they […]

Swatched | Essence This Is Me Lipstick in ”15 Fabulous”

From quite a few makeup brands I only have one or a couple of products from a specific range. A bit meagre to write a long review about, am I right? So I started this new series called ”Swatched”, in which I – obviously – swatch, and briefly review those random products that don’t require […]

My holiday/travel skincare routine

Yes, I have a special skincare routine for when I’m on holiday.. Or well, it’s basically my regular skincare routine slimmed down. Still, it sounds quite extra don’t you think? Anyway, I wanted to share it with you guys what I took with me on holiday this summer because I really like skincare related blog […]

Review | dear, Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence

A new summer, a new sunscreen! I started to run out of my other sunscreen, which, coincidentally was also by Klairs. However they discontinued that one, and came out with a new, and apparently ”improved” one: the Soft Airy UV Essence. As the name implies it’s supposed to be a soft, weightless sunscreen. It has […]

Review | The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer

Well hello there, long time no see! Today I have a review for you guys of a product I’ve been using a lot lately. A while ago I wrote about the The Ordinary High-Spreadability Fluid Primer, a primer that I quite liked but that didn’t tick one of the – to me – most important […]

"Viva la vida!" is what Frida used to say, even though her life was full of hardships. Thinking about her and looking at her art gives me courage. She is, and forever will be, one of my favourite artists. (Also, how cute is this card my sister got me for my birthday?? 💖)
I started to run out of some of my skincare products so I did a bit of Korean skincare haulin'! If you'd like to see what I bought, there's a link to the blog post I wrote about it in my bio! 😊
#currentlyreading 📚 This book was on my "to read" list for 2020 and I finally gave it a go. I'm only half way through so I can't give you my definite opinion yet but so far I feel a bit "meh" about it tbh. It's so repetitive and it doesn't make me feel particularly inspired (yet?) to clean up my entire house asap. Have you read it? What did you think about it?
Believe it or not: there's a new post up on my blog! 😳🎉 It's a review of a not-so-recent favourite (I've been using it since March but only got around to reviewing it now 😂) There's a link to the post in my bio! Let me know what you think!
Everybody's getting all excited for autumn and here I am trying to desperately hang onto summer. 😅 So here's a photo I took in the South of France a couple of years ago to keep that summer feeling going for a bit longer! ☀️
There's no sunshine without rain, they say. 🌦 And "they" might be right, but man, the rainy periods are just utter sh*t aren't they? I'm in the middle of one of those periods right now as you might've seen in some of my previous Instagram stories, and while I know I'll probably come out of this stronger, feeling like I'm stagnating at the moment just sucks! In other/better news: I finally bought a new phone (with a good camera 🎉), so it's not all bad. 😂 Anyway, here are soms photos of a little guy that always manages to cheer me up, and I hope he does the same for you in case you're knee deep in sh*t as well!
